26 volunteers from 12 coastal communes in Quang Tri province are trained in turtle rescue and communication for plastic waste reduction at local beaches.

Monitoring of costal reef
August 23, 2022
Monitoring of the coral reefs around Con Co Island aims to protect the ecosystem under the sea in the area, creating good environment for turtles and other sea creatures.

Costal debrief assessment
September 9-10, 2022
Coastal debris assessment aims to measure the littering, especially of plastic waste from local restaurants and fishing vessels, in major beaches in Quang Tri and suggests solutions to reduce plastic pollution in the area.

Rescue of turtles
From January 2023 up today
The volunteer team that was trained in this project has conducted several activities to rescue turtles trapped in fishing net or caught offshore.
